The Skinpen is the first FDA-cleared micro needling treatment and preferred by physicians and aestheticians. It is convenient, simple and requires little downtime. Most report beneficial results in as few as three 30 minute treatment sessions. Usually we recommend a package of 3 for this reason.
The Skinpen has been used to treat acne and scarring. It works wonders with uneven, damaged skin where uneven texture is present.
Also, used often with neck wrinkles! This area on our neck is composed of delicate tissue which often endures the aging process. The SkinPen can help firm, tighten and make your neck appear younger and more youthful.
The Treatment
Your provider cleanses your skin. An optional topical anesthesia gel is applied to your skin for approximately 30 min. This helps with limiting discomfort and improves treatment results. A hydrogel is applied to the skin to allow the Skinpen to glide along your face. It works by creating millions of tiny micro channels to target natural collagen stimulation and promote healing. After treatment, you may notice some redness and inflammation. This is normal and will subside in 2-4 days.
